U16 are 2007 Premiers
16 September 2007
Congratulations to the players and officials of the U16 Combined team for their efforts in Saturday's grand Final win against Springwood. This is a fantastic achievement for a combined team and you should all be very proud to be the "2007 Premiers - AFLBJ U16 Div 3 South".

U16 Combined Team Progress to the Grand Final
03 September 2007
Well the final score in the Prelimiinary Final was Calamvale / C.Pk 16-13-109 def Jindalee 9-8-62. The boys played to win and they never let Jindalee get the upper hand at any time throughout the game.
The Grand Final is at Zillmere Eagles No 1 oval at 12.30pm this coming Saturday 15th September against Springwood.
It would be really great if the last game of Junior football for our U/16 boys was a win the next game and if they play like they did on Saturday they have a very good chance of winning. We hope that as many Leopards as possible can get along and support our courageous U16 players in their efforts to bring home a Premiership to Calamvale in 2007.

U14 Combined Team Finals Farwell
11th September 2007
The !4 Combined team (Kenvale) bowed out off the finals race after being beaten on the final siren by a very committed Redlands team on Saturday. Behind for most of the game, Redlands came out hard after the long break gradually pegging back the 4 goal deficit hitting the front with just 2 minutes to go. With a last big push Kenvale surged forward beating by the final siren as the ball was launched towards the "Hot Spot".
We congratulate all the players on their performances throughout the year. As a combined team, reaching the Preliminary Final is a great achievement and we wish all the players well in 2008. Well done.

U16 Combined Team Finals Progress
03 September 2007
The U16 Combined team are on FIRE! We won the game against the Logan Cobras (Calamvale/CP 15-12-102 Def Logan Cobras 4-4-28) on Saturday 25th August, and yesterday we had a convincing win against Ipswich (Calamvale/CP 13.88.85 Def Ipswich 6.12.48). Following our game yesterday, Jindalee who are on top of the ladder played against Springwood (Springwood 11.16.82 Def Jindalee 10.10.70).  This means that we play Jindalee this coming weekend straight after the U14 Kenvale's game on Saturday afternoon. That's 12:30pm at Wilston Grange. Whoever wins from this game goes into the Grand Final to play Springwood. We hope to see a big crowd of supporters to cheer our players on to victory and a spot in the Grand Final.

U14 Kenvale Team Finals Progress
03 September 2007
After finishing in 2nd position on the ladder the U14 combined team was fortunate to have the second chance spot when Alexandra Hills outplayed the much smaller "Kenvale" team keeping us scoreless for the whole game. The final score was - "Alexandra Hills 2" 16.25.121 Def "Kenmore/Calamvale" 0.0.0. This result means "Kenvale" must play "Redland 2" and win in order to make the Grand Final the following week. We wish the guys luck but I'm sure they won't need luck if previous results mean anything. Next weeks game is at Wliston Grange with the 10:45am ball-up.

U14 Combined Team to Play Finals
30th August 2007
Following on from the U16 combined team's success in reaching the finals the U14's combined team will also play finals.

U16 Combined Team to Play Finals
23 August 2007
Isn't it great to see our Leopards in the finals. We have been very pleased with the U16’s efforts this year given the difficulties that exist with a combined team and I believe that Leigh and the boys have done a great job so far this year considering those difficulties. We hope that their success continues through the finals and look forward to a great game on Saturday. The u16's play their first final against the Cobra's at Calamvale and it would be great to see a crowd of Leopards support at the game.

Finals Day at Calamvale
19 August 2007
